ART OF TRAVEL
The art of bringing people together. Experiencing what matters.
There are moments that can't be planned – only made possible. A place where you instantly feel at home. A conversation too good to end. An idea that meets the right people at the right moment. Creating precisely these kinds of moments is Rita-Graciela Werner's passion.
For many years, she has been developing trips, formats, and experiences – under her own name as well as for renowned publications such as DER FEINSCHMECKER, DONNA, MADAME, and ELLE, and as a producer of the PLAYBOY Gentlemen's Weekend. These are usually in small groups of twelve people, because that's precisely where closeness, attention, and genuine connection can develop.
The journeys took participants by Land Rover to the dunes of Namibia, on hikes through the vineyards of Tuscany, to a survival day with an elite soldier in minus fifteen degrees Celsius in Lapland, to the mountains of Montenegro and South Tyrol, to the coast of Lamu in Kenya, through the history and alleyways of Marrakech, Florence, and Antwerp – the latter on a gourmet tour – as well as to Mallorca and Leogang, where formats like the Gentlemen's Weekend originated. Always in establishments with character: exceptional hotels, masserias in Apulia, and palaces that themselves become part of the story.
Rita-Graciela Werner doesn't think in categories like event, PR, or travel, but in terms of relationships and encounters: Which people, which place, which brand belong together? And how does that become more than just a weekend – namely, a memory that you'll still be talking about years later?
Planning, logistics, and budget are of course part of it. But the crucial element cannot be captured in a table: the moment when people truly engage in conversation with one another.
