Essence of Life

Art and expression have always been Rita-Graciela Werner's passion — working with images, words and now also sound has accompanied her throughout her entire career.

She has always written: Four books in the Let's Talk! series were published by Eichborn Verlag before she wrote a screenplay in 1991, which was only published in 2026 — matured, but unchanged in its core — as her first novel El Cielo (Amazon, ISBN 979-8-2534-2229-8).

Since 2020, color has joined the word in her work. In her historic lime kiln in Biniamar, Mallorca, she began to paint—under the name Art of Grace, under which she has since gathered all her artistic expressions. She throws energy onto the canvas, colorful, with bold, direct brushstrokes. More than 70 works have been created since then; in 2025, Marion Stöter exhibited a selection of them in Hamburg.

In April 2026, a third medium was added: With the support of AI, she composes her own music — not another medium alongside painting and writing, but rather a continuation of them: a sonic diary that captures what words sometimes cannot reach and color cannot hold.

Under the name Art of Grace, songs like snapshots are created— I Follow the Spirit of the Nomads , a departure; Mission Earth , a view of the world, cosmically distorted and danceable at the same time. Available on Spotify.
